Hot Stone Foot Reflexology

A deeply relaxing foot reflexology treatment but with the added comfort of the lower legs and foot reflexes being worked on with different sized heated basalt stones. Basalt stones are believed to have nurturing, cleansing, and healing effects on the body, as well as being able to retain heat well. enabling the reflexes to be worked to a deeper level, increasing circulation, and aiding the reduction of muscle tension and pain. The temperature of the specialist basalt stones are heated in a specially designed Vulsini hot stones bag, which is designed to keep the stones at the correct temperature throughout the treatment.

Please wear loose fitting clothing so I am able to access the lower legs.

Advanced Facial Reflexology (Bergman Method)

Having trained with the award winning facial Reflexologist Ziggie Bergman at the London School of Reflexology, I am proud to be able to offer this exciting and unique treatment that Ziggie Bergman developed over 20 years ago which incorporates Native American techniques and Asian body mapping. This heavenly treatment is pure bliss and grounded in the same principles of foot and hand reflexology.

Facial reflexology is particularly effective for stimulating the body’s healing mechanisms as the proximity of the brain and face are so close together. It focuses on reflexes of the face and has a powerful effect on your emotional wellbeing, stress/anxiety levels, along with improving circulation and nerve conduction. It encourages the release of toxins from the body via the lymphatic system which aids the removal of these toxins and waste..particularly helpful in relieving symptoms of acne by helping to control levels of bacteria and sebum production.

It also has the added benefit of strengthening the underlying tissues, having a direct rejuvenating effect on the skin, encouraging collagen production and leaves your skin glowing and radiant, promoting deep relaxation and leaves you feeling beautiful inside and out.

This treatment can be particularly effective for many conditions, particularly those associated with the face and head and has the potential to help relieve headaches/migraines, sinus congestion, hay fever, tension felt in the jaw associated with teeth grinding, relieve tension in muscle tissue, improve concentration and can help relieve mental strain, etc. This therapy has also proved effective in alleviating the effects of Bells Palsy and other neurological conditions. Training once again with the award-winning Ziggie Bergman I am thrilled to be able to offer this soothing treatment which has been described as ‘an all-natural alternative to Botox with internal benefits to boot!’

Boasting many benefits, facial cupping not only helps relax facial tension but it also helps with physical imbalances that manifest on our face and in our emotions helping to balance the entire body. Indian Head Massage

This wonderful holistic treatment is a great stress relieving massage to the upper back, shoulders, neck, head and scalp using the soothing warmth of hot stones and luxurious oils . This treatment melts away tension leaving the body and mind feeling relaxed, refreshed and rejuvenated. This treatment can be performed sat on a specially designed chair specifically used for Indian Head massage. or an ordinary chair…whichever is most comfortable for you. In order for me to be able to access the shoulder blades and above I provide a specially designed robe for you to change into. However, I am able to access the areas needed should you not want to change if you wear a loose-fitting top.

Ear Candling with Lymphatic Drainage Massage

Thermo Auricular Therapy, or ear candling, is a soothing therapeutic treatment that has the potential to help with many conditions. The candles have a hollow centre about 12 inches long with a filter at the end that protects the ear from wax or powder deposits. During a treatment I will lay you on your side and gently insert the candle into your ear one at a time. The length of the time the candle burns will vary from person to person but is usually between 8 to 12 minutes on average. The heat from the flame creates a stimulating, soothing, warming effect. The combination of the moving flame and vibration of the air in the ear candle creates a satisfying massage-like sensation in the ear drum.

After the treatment has finished, I will apply a soothing therapeutic facial oil to your face and perform a facial lymphatic drainage massage. When your lymphatic system is a little sluggish it can lead to a build up of toxins which can cause congestion and fatigue. By stimulating the lymph flow this encourages the removal of a build up of toxins . I also apply pressure points to your face to further enhance and assist the detoxification process helping to improve your overall wellbeing..
