Hot Stone Foot Reflexology

A deeply relaxing foot reflexology treatment but with the added comfort of the lower legs and foot reflexes being worked on with different sized heated basalt stones. Basalt stones are believed to have nurturing, cleansing, and healing effects on the body, as well as being able to retain heat well. enabling the reflexes to be worked to a deeper level, increasing circulation, and aiding the reduction of muscle tension and pain. The temperature of the specialist basalt stones are heated in a specially designed Vulsini hot stones bag, which is designed to keep the stones at the correct temperature throughout the treatment.

Please wear loose fitting clothing so I am able to access the lower legs.

Advanced Facial Reflexology (Bergman Method)

Having trained with the award winning facial Reflexologist Ziggie Bergman at the London School of Reflexology, I am proud to be able to offer this exciting and unique treatment that Ziggie Bergman developed over 20 years ago which incorporates Native American techniques and Asian body mapping. This heavenly treatment is pure bliss and grounded in the same principles of foot and hand reflexology.

Facial reflexology is particularly effective for stimulating the body’s healing mechanisms as the proximity of the brain and face are so close together. It focuses on reflexes of the face and has a powerful effect on your emotional wellbeing, stress/anxiety levels, along with improving circulation and nerve conduction. It encourages the release of toxins from the body via the lymphatic system which aids the removal of these toxins and waste..particularly helpful in relieving symptoms of acne by helping to control levels of bacteria and sebum production.

It also has the added benefit of strengthening the underlying tissues, having a direct rejuvenating effect on the skin, encouraging collagen production and leaves your skin glowing and radiant, promoting deep relaxation and leaves you feeling beautiful inside and out.

This treatment can be particularly effective for many conditions, particularly those associated with the face and head and has the potential to help relieve headaches/migraines, sinus congestion, hay fever, tension felt in the jaw associated with teeth grinding, relieve tension in muscle tissue, improve concentration and can help relieve mental strain, etc. This therapy has also proved effective in alleviating the effects of Bells Palsy and other neurological conditions. This session includes a short relaxing scalp massage and different reflexology techniques will be applied on the face using my hands and therapeutic tools such as rose quartz mushrooms, crystal wands etc.

Facial Reflexology with Facial Cupping

Training once again with the award-winning Ziggie Bergman I am thrilled to be able to offer this soothing treatment which has been described as ‘an all-natural alternative to Botox with internal benefits to boot!’

Boasting many benefits, facial cupping not only helps relax facial tension but it also helps with physical imbalances that manifest on our face and in our emotions helping to balance the entire body. Other conditions that may benefit from facial cupping include Bells Palsy, facial paralysis, headache/migraines, sinus congestion, hay fever, earaches/tinnitus, loss of smell, teeth grinding – it may also help to reduce the appearance of scars from acne or injury ,fine lines and wrinkles, help reduce puffy eyes and skin ,help reduce pore size, firm the skin by increasing collagen and elastin, help sculpt facial features, remove toxins, and encourages clear skin with a healthy glow.

Please note, a wait of 3-4 months after having facial Botox and/or fillers is needed before having this treatment.

After a short cleansing routine, I gently apply luxurious facial oil to the face and neck and using specialist techniques I apply different sized silicon cups over the skin using a gentle sweeping movement encouraging blood to flow to the surface to help prompt a healing response.

Clinical Hand Reflexology

Ideal for those not so keen on having their feet touched, for those who may have mobility issues or for those who may not be able to have treatments on their feet for various reasons, hand reflexology serves as a gentle alternative that is just as effective and beneficial as foot reflexology. It can either be performed sat up or laid down on the couch.

Child/Teen Reflexology

Just like adults, children can experience the many benefits of foot, face and hand reflexology. Whether your child has a health condition, experiences additional needs, has behavioural issues, struggles with digestive issues, or is experiencing high anxiety / stress levels then this may be the treatment for them. Other conditions that may benefit your child may be those that are struggling with sleep issues, lacking concentration, suffers with low mood, experiencing exam stress etc then reflexology may be the help they need to bring their system back into harmony and allow them to feel more grounded in themselves amid the stresses of life.

Please note that children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult and treatments may vary in length and may be adapted to your child's individual needs, all of which can be discussed prior to their appointment.

Indian Head Massage

This wonderful holistic treatment is a great stress relieving massage to the upper back, shoulders, neck, head and scalp that is performed on a specifically designed chair specially made to perform Indian head massage on. In order for me to be able to access the shoulder blades and above I provide a specially designed robe for you to change into. However, I am able to access the areas needed should you not want to change if you wear a loose-fitting top.

Ear Candling

Thermo Auricular Therapy, or ear candling, is a calming therapeutic experience that has the potential to help with many conditions. The candles have a hollow centre about 12 inches long with a filter at the end that protects the ear from wax or powder deposits. During a treatment I will lay you on your side and gently insert the candle into your ear one at a time. The length of the time the candle burns will vary from person to person but is usually between 8 to 12 minutes on average.

The heat from the flame creates a stimulating, soothing, warming effect. The combination of the moving flame and vibration of the air in the ear candle creates a satisfying massage-like sensation in the ear drum. After the treatment has finished, I will apply a soothing therapeutic facial oil to your face and perform a facial lymphatic drainage massage (which helps encourage the removal of a build up of toxins) as well as applying pressure points to your face to further enhance and assist the amazing effects of this treatment.

Meridian massage £7

Meridians are pathways where energy circulates throughout the body. During a meridian massage several acupressure points on either the legs and/or arms are massaged using different hand techniques to help target the tissue underneath the skin helping to release tension and bring the body back into a sense of harmony and deep relaxation.
